Garko is in Ancona with Izzo and Tognazzi: filming is underway for "Colpa dei Sensi."

Ancona, August 23, 2025 – After Raoul Bova , Gabriel Garko . The Turin-born actor, former model, and formerly crowned Italy's most handsome man, was in Piazza del Papa yesterday. Ancona is once again a protagonist on the small screen , as it will host filming of a new drama series entitled 'Colpa dei sensi', which will be broadcast on Canale 5 until September 6.
Garko is one of the main characters in the television series directed by Simona Izzo and Ricky Tognazzi , who were also in Piazza del Papa for the set. The Izzo-Tognazzi duo have come to the city several times to scout locations for their serialized film, and on Thursday they even stopped by the Passetto to browse around.
LocationThey went as far as the L'Ascensore restaurant, where the owner, Luigi Catalano , accompanied them to the splendid terrace overlooking the beach, which may be one of the filming locations. After the location scout, they dined at the restaurant and yesterday morning they went to Piazza del Papa to prepare for filming, which began in the early afternoon. Interior scenes were shot, and the apartment chosen was the office of notary Stefano Sabatini, at number 2, which overlooks Piazza del Papa . It's an elegant building, with fine furnishings, just steps from the Prefecture. Garko arrived in semi-sportswear—soft pants, a denim shirt, and a shoulder bag. Anyone who was dining in the area was amazed to see him there.
Part of the square was cordoned off to allow the crew to park their vehicles to unload cameras, microphones, and everything else needed for recording. There was even an external staircase, built by Lucesole Traslochi, to enhance the interior and transport the equipment. Yesterday, a scene involving several police officers, all extras, was being filmed. The plot of the drama revolves around the death of Garko's mother, whose name in the film is Davide.
The plotThe seemingly peaceful life of spouses Laura (actress Anna Safroncik) and Enrico (actor Tommaso Basili) is turned upside down by Davide's (Garko) return to Ancona.
The man, Laura's ex-boyfriend and Enrico's best friend, had left the city after his mother's death, apparently murdered by her father, but then becomes troubled by doubts that his father committed the murder. With the help of a police officer, Tommaso (Francesco Venditti, son of Simona Izzo, also in Ancona yesterday), hidden secrets and truths will emerge.
Over 200 extrasGuasco Srl, owned by Fabrizio Saracinelli, a film production and audiovisual services company based in Ancona, is supporting the locations and casting calls used to recruit more than 200 extras. Filming continued yesterday until the evening. Other locations selected include the Archaeological Museum, the Vanvitelli seafront, and the Palazzo degli Anziani. The film will then move beyond the province.
